Hanspeter Vikoler

Born and grown up in Klausen/Eisacktal, studies in Venice, Paris, London, Paris and worked for the United Nations worldwide in the field of humanitarian crisis operations for over 3 decades. Due to my extensive assignments, I am quite experienced in traveling and can deal with a wide variety of conditions, challenges and cultures quite well, as well as speak fluent English, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. Back home in South Tyrol since my retirement in 2024, I have been involved in a wide range of societal and environmental associations such as the Alpine Club South Tyrol, education committees and schools (with lectures), environmental and climate organisations and much more – as well as having already carried out several hiking and travel guides with a focus on nature, environment and culture in South Tyrol and abroad as a trained hiking and tour guide.
